Talent Pool - Manager of Security - NSW Statewide
The Manager of Security provides high level operational leadership and direction for management in small, medium and large correctional centres, including the coordination of the purposeful day, effective provision of security, inmate related services and ensuring the maintenance of staff discipline.
What You’ll Do : Lead and direct special projects or specialised services within Corrective Services NSW.
What We’re Looking For : You will be highly enthusiastic and motivated to support and lead a culture of integrity and discipline within the team. You are required to maintain confidentiality, utilise your proven leadership experience and knowledge to meet the demands of the role.
- Current and valid driving licence and willingness to travel within NSW
- Comply with National Heavy Vehicle Law and Regulations and Chain of responsibility Policy and Procedures

Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community.
CsNSW is committed to continuing the professional development of senior staff holding the rank Manager of Security and part of this strategy includes the application of Section 10.4 of the Crown Employees (Custodial Executive Rank Officer – DCJ – Corrective Services NSW) Award.
A talent pool may be created for future ongoing and temporary roles and is valid for a period of up to 18 months.
