**The Role**
Full responsibilities for the execution of logistics operations for the "final run". i.e. upon arrival of the vessel at the Port of destination, incl., port operations and customs clearance - the takeover of the shipment, pickup, and delivery to site.
**Job description** 
- Ensure that transport and related matters take place with the highest focus on safety whilst also on time, within Budget, and components are delivered damage free. 
- Ensure readiness of transport execution, e.g. Cargo and Tooling availability. 
- Continuous contact with PM to update on status and delivery on site 
- Focal point - interface to the Global Logistics Operation Management PM/EPC 
- First point of contact to the (local/regional) core Project team. 
- Definition of project-specific Logistics concept together with Area Log. Manager and PM and TM 
- Demurrage / Detention / Storage Management - all added cost incurred 
- Risk and Opportunity Management 
- Invoicing Management. 
- Responsibility to issue and update transport budget during Tendering and Execution [e.g. based on historical data, price indications, updates coming from Logistics Sourcing] all related to the final run. 
- Supporting in completion the RFQ and formally release RFQ to Sourcing regarding operational content. 
- Owner of COE Logistics and Logistics [operational] strategy for the final run. 
- Support Region and Global in Reverse Logistics and return Transportation. 
- Responsibility to represent Outbound Logistics during external and internal meetings relating to topics around Outbound Logistics Operations. 
- Claim management to the Suppliers 
- Check and observation Shipment Arrival schedule Plan and update 
- Project reporting incl. KPI
**Qualification/Training **University graduated (Logistics or maritime cargo is a plus). Several years in a comparable position and experience in Logistics and Transport is a basic must.
**Complementary Training** 
High experience in international trade and/or experience as a vessel operator, customs management, knowledge of ERP, costs control, planning, and logistics management.
**Profile** 
Organized and planned. Extensive knowledge of material logistics and export merchandise traffic. Accustomed to handling computer tools. Analytical, active, proactive, and decisive.
**Languages/Level** 
Fluent Business English mandatory, other languages are a plus - Spanish / German
**Experience** 
At least 5 to 7 years in a logistics management position. Preferable international shipments (maritime).
**Availability to travel**
**Addiotonal experience required** 
- Good knowledge of Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
- Basis knowledge in SAP of an advantage 
- Fluent German and minimum good English language skills 
- Strong organisation skills and strong interface thinking approach 
- Excellent communication skills 
- Ability to work in different business cultures
