Jacobs is looking for a Senior Engineering Geologist to support major infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand. The role involves both field work and office duties, delivering technical insight across the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Planning, supervising, and interpreting field‐based site investigations and geological data.
* Preparing high‐quality engineering geology and geotechnical reports.
* Providing geological input and ground behavior assessments to support design modelling and analysis.
* Advising construction teams during delivery phases, responding to ground‐related challenges.
* Collaborating with colleagues across the Tunnel and Ground Engineering team to share knowledge and deliver integrated solutions.
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences, or related discipline.
* Strong experience in site investigations, geological logging, and geotechnical interpretation.
* Familiarity with design modelling tools and geotechnical analysis.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
