About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Network Specialist to provide technical leadership and support for our critical communications network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for resolving incidents, managing configuration and software changes, and providing guidance to our field teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Resolve incidents and problems that require level 2 support
* Manage all configuration and software changes relating to the P25 network and site-related equipment
* Evaluate and escalate issues to level 3 support as required
* Perform level 2 support and maintenance of supported customer systems
* Provide proposals to the Telco Authority for any issues identified
* Interact with clients to resolve any issues or problems
* Support BAICC, Service Integrity Unit, and provide training and direction to sub-contractors
Requirements:
* Good understanding of P25 or equivalent and RF systems
* Intermediate understanding of Motorola applications and radio equipment
* Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills
* Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
* Sound planning capability and prioritisation skills
* Qualification in Engineering or relevant experience and technical knowledge
