Respected builder developer seeking experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their team and work on significant projects in Sydney Role: Senior Project Engineer - Tier 2 Builder Location: Ryde and Castle Hill Salary: $170,000 About the Opportunity We’re partnering with a highly respected, progressive construction company delivering landmark projects across Sydney. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality outcomes on complex projects. There are two positions available, based on major projects in Castle Hill and Ryde areas. The Role As a Senior Project Engineer, you’ll work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in all aspects of project delivery, from design coordination through to final closeout. You must have experience with high-rise residential or mixed use projects. Key Responsibilities Support the Project Manager in day-to-day operations and act in their role when required. Manage design coordination, shop drawings, RFIs, and compliance closeouts. Oversee procurement, subcontractor programs, and project scheduling. Chair design meetings and liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and clients. Drive quality assurance processes, WHS compliance, and mandatory inspections. Assist with variations, monthly reporting, and defect management. Contribute to QMP and CMP development alongside PM and Site Manager. About You Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 4 years’ experience in construction, including 2 years as a Project Engineer. Experience with high-rise residential or mixed use projects Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and services disciplines. Proficient in MS Office and document control systems (e.g., ACONEX). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
