Role Summary
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced FP&A Manager to lead the financial planning and performance analysis function within a large and complex organisation. Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will oversee budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting while managing a small team responsible for supporting operational stakeholders.
This position will play a key role in strengthening financial insights across the organisation, supporting long-term planning and ensuring strong financial governance.
About the Role
* Lead the organisation’s budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes
* Manage and mentor a small FP&A team, ensuring high-quality analysis and reporting
* Deliver meaningful financial insights and performance reporting to senior leadership
* Partner with operational leaders to support strategic and operational decision-making
* Provide detailed variance analysis, financial modelling and scenario planning
* Support capital planning and long-term financial sustainability initiatives
* Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting and planning processes
* Contribute to the development of financial strategies that support organisational objectives
Skills & Experience
* CA or CPA qualified
* Demonstrated experience within FP&A, financial planning or management accounting roles
* Experience leading or mentoring finance staff
* Strong capability across budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
* Ability to translate financial data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders
* Experience operating within complex or regulated environments (local government, public sector or NFP experience advantageous)
