Short Description

Infosys Australia is looking for a hands‐on HR‐Employee Relations specialist to join their business and be part of a fun, supportive and collaborative team. Reporting to the Corporate Employee Relations leaders and Australia & New Zealand HR Manager, this role is based in Melbourne, VIC. As part of a close‐knit HR team, you will be responsible for the employees across Australia & New Zealand and provide support across a range of HR activities while also having the opportunity to be involved in a variety of HR projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

* As an experienced Employee Relations Lead consultant, advisor and investigator, you will provide Employee Relations solutions to business leaders, all levels of employees, BPHRs and managers, with an emphasis on analysis and resolution of Employee Relations (ER) issues, investigations, and other related matters.
* Role holder will be responsible for leading investigations and matters across the ANZ Region for Infosys Limited.
* To contribute to strengthening the employee relationship with the Company through collaboration and teamwork.
* To facilitate employee experience devise interventions that contribute towards building employee trust and a workplace culture rooted in Infosys values (CLIFE).
* To contribute to identifying and resolving workplace issues, measuring employee satisfaction and morale thereby facilitating a positive work environment.
* To provide support and inputs to the Company's policies, processes, including external / statutory compliance requirements.

Principal Accountabilities

* Advisory Role: Provides advice, support and assistance by interpreting Company policies related to Employee Relations and procedures to Business leaders, HR sub functions and employees.
* Policy review: Analyze and review the ER related policies and processes and keep abreast with changing employment law landscape and gather industry intelligence.
* Investigations & Case management: Lead employee disciplinary investigations at a and manage the assigned cases within the required timelines.
* Collaborate with Business leaders, Business HR, managers, and other stakeholders to resolve all employee disciplinary issues in accordance with defined policies (integrity issues, sexual harassment, Behavior & values, performance improvement plans, information security, data privacy matters etc.).
* Preventive Efforts, Awareness & Enablement: Support training of Employees, Business HR colleagues for driving the culture of Speak‐up.
* Coordinate with external consultants, vendors as required.
* Record and track ER data in a thorough and timely manner. Maintain a record of all investigations and cases using proper documentation standards. Develop and complete required reports.
* Analytics: Analyze data on various ER awareness and enablement programs and all compliance related data to be published to the business.
* Coordinate employee conflicts involving legal issues: Coordinate with internal or external legal team for managing issue with legal implications arising out of disciplinary actions or terminations to appropriate closure.
* Grievance redressal: Drive mechanisms as per the company global policies ensuring timely redressal of employee issues.
* Keep abreast with changing employment law landscape.

Skill and Experience Requirements

Essential

* Proven experience in a similar position with at least 3+ years of Employee Relations experience (ER specialist or HR Generalist with strong Employee Relations exposure).
* Experience in an ICT / Professional Services organization will be preferred.
* Strong Knowledge of ANZ specific ER practices and processes.
* Experience dealing with the full range of employee relation issues that arise within the life cycle of an employee is mandatory.
* Influencing skills, Negotiation skills, problem solving skills as part of the work assignments.
* Strong Employee Relation experience in managing investigations and disciplinary measures within the framework of internal policy and local legislation.
* Experience in working in multicultural, international business and working across multiple time zones.
* Experience managing stakeholders with confidence, flexibility, and autonomy.
