Key Media is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Event Manager to lead the delivery of an exciting portfolio of B2B events — including conferences, festivals, and award programs — across Australia.
This is afixed-term, 12-month contract ideal for a passionate event professional ready to make a big impact in a fast-paced, global media company.
What You'll Do
* Collaborate with the GM–Events to ensure the seamless execution of Key Media events across the region.
* Take the lead role on events as directed by the GM-Events.
* Manage end-to-end logistics for a portfolio of high-profile conferences and award nights across Australia.
* Liaise with speakers, sponsors, award excellence awardees, and management.
* On-site event logistics work, including liaising with the venue and AV providers.
* Gather and analyze participant feedback; prepare post-event reports and insights.
* Travel interstate and internationally, as required.
* Attend and support Key Media and industry events outside of regular business hours, as required.
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 3 years experience in event logistics and management
* Based in Sydney, with the ability to work in a hybrid environment
* Willingness and ability to travel around
* Proven ability to manage multiple events and deadlines under pressure
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a talent for planning and stakeholder communication
* Proficient with event tech tools and project coordination platforms
