Software Engineer
Contract until June 2027 with two 12‐month extensions. July start. Canberra based. Hybrid working arrangement. Australian citizens only with baseline clearance required. Federal Government experience highly regarded.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical design, development, implementation and maintenance of large and complex applications.
* Participate in the design and development of technical changes that meet business requirements while aligning with Enterprise Architecture artefacts.
* Develop, maintain, and unit‐test system components.
* Provide application development in line with departmental standards and methodologies.
* Troubleshoot production issues and incidents.
* Provide code review and other quality assurance tasks for projects and code delivered by the section.
Qualifications
* Experience overseeing software development projects.
* Ability to write optimised code.
* Provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers.
