**Opportunities**:
NGH is expanding rapidly. As a result, we are growing our Planning team and seeking motivated and enthusiastic Town Planners to join the team. You will be working on a wide range of projects, including high-profile large scale renewable energy and infrastructure developments. This could be an excellent career opportunity for Town Planners looking to broaden their experience, work on exciting projects in diverse landscapes and be supported by industry leaders across eastern Australia.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work collaboratively with the Planning team to optimise and improve the delivery of planning services
- Prepare a variety of statutory planning reports (particularly Statement of Environmental Effects) within workstage time and budgetary constraints
- Identify/provide practical solutions for your projects
- Participate in project inception meetings
- Participate in site inspections and/or field work
- Participate and input into the tender and proposal process
- Liaise with clients as required
**Skills and Experiences**:
- Tertiary education in related discipline
- Outstanding communication skills
- Client relationship management
- Comprehensive knowledge of the relevant state planning system and the planning approvals process.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
