About the Role
The City of Wanneroo is seeking a passionate and experienced Marketing Advisor to join our dynamic Communications and Brand team for a 12-month parental leave cover. Reporting to the Senior Marketing & Design Advisor, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering impactful marketing campaigns and brand initiatives that support the City's strategic goals.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role ideal for a hands-on marketing professional who thrives on collaboration, innovation, and delivering measurable results across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, implement, and evaluate innovative and cost-effective marketing campaigns.
* Prepare high-quality marketing materials across digital, print, and social media.
* Act as a brand steward, providing support to strategically develop the brand and ensure consistent application across all internal and external channels.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to develop marketing solutions that meet business and community needs.
* Evaluate campaign performance and generate insights to improve future initiatives.
* Contribute to employer branding and support internal communications projects.
About You
You are a self-motivated marketer who's equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves and contributing creatively and strategically. You're known for your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a team-focused environment.
What You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Digital Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience delivering creative, audience-focused marketing campaigns.
* Strong understanding of brand governance and strategic marketing principles.
* High-level digital literacy and ability to set up, analyse and report on campaign performance.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
