Business Development Manager - EV Charging and Energy Management

We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Business Development Manager based in Sydney or NSW to help us grow sustainably by building customer relationships within your region. Your role involves prospecting, engaging potential clients with our EV Charging solutions, and generating new business opportunities.
You will negotiate deals and provide excellent service, contributing directly to our market expansion in the EV Charging sector.
Responsibilities
1. Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and address concerns.
2. Conduct cold calls to connect with new prospects.
3. Analyze customer costs and benefits to inform strategic decisions.
4. Maintain a structured lead database to ensure effective follow-up.
5. Meet or exceed sales targets within deadlines.
6. Stay informed on industry trends and market shifts.
7. Keep up-to-date with competitive activity and market intelligence.
Requirements
1. 5+ years of sales experience in a technical environment with a proven client relationship track record.
2. Established network among installers, electrical wholesalers, energy management firms, and EV infrastructure providers.
3. Strong selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
4. Perseverance and resilience.
5. Ability to work independently and contribute to team success.
6. Experience with CRM software is advantageous.
7. Entrepreneurial, proactive, and commercially minded.
8. Fluent in English.
9. Based in Sydney or Melbourne.
10. Passionate about renewable energy and sustainability.
