$121,845 - $125,720 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading
Your role
Community Corrections Team Leaders provide professional support, mentoring and leadership to the team to ensure a high standard of professional service delivery that is compliant with legislation, policies, procedures and the values of the organisation.
What You'll Do
As part of the Tumut/Junee or Wagga Wagga team you will develop and support a cohesive team of Community Corrections Officers with differing levels of skills and competence in a changing work environment. You will provide clear and supportive feedback to develop and support staff to meet individual accountability.
You will also provide oversight of caseloads involving people completing orders, including those assessed as high risk or with complex needs. There is extensive training and promotional opportunities. If you enjoy guiding and supporting team members and liaising across multiple stakeholders, then this work will interest you.
You'll work as part of a team who complete tasks including risk assessment, case management and report writing and you'll be working in either a community office or a parole unit within a Correctional Centre environment.

Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce reoffending and create safer communities. We house remand and sentenced inmates in correctional centres and supervise offenders serving orders in the community.
CSNSW provides reports and advice to courts and releasing/parole authorities. We assess offenders in the community and in custody for relevant interventions to reduce their risks of reoffending. CSNSW works in partnership with other government and non-government justice and human services agencies to support victims, facilitate restorative justice and promote reintegration of people completing their Orders.
