Utilize current educational practices and QCAA syllabuses to inform teaching decisions in early, primary and middle years education.
Understand how young people learn at different ages and develop effective learning strategies.
Use formal and informal data to monitor and plan for effective teaching and learning, including tracking and enhancing student outcomes.
Model high levels of pedagogical expertise, collaboration and teamwork to enhance student achievement.
Plan and implement well-structured learning programs or lesson sequences that engage students and promote learning.
Implement evidence-based teaching strategies to improve literacy and numeracy achievement in students.
Select from a wide range of resources, including ICT, to create engaging learning experiences.
Participate in assessment moderation activities to support consistent and comparable judgments of student learning.
Provide timely, effective and appropriate feedback to students about their achievement relative to learning goals.
Design learning activities that incorporate differentiated strategies to meet the specific learning needs of students across a full range of abilities.
Establish and implement inclusive classroom interactions to engage and support all students.
