The Opportunity

Join the team at Monash University as a Lecturer (Education-focused) and contribute to high-quality teaching within the Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced (GDPA) program. In this role, you will support evidence-informed teaching practices and engaging learning experiences, contributing to unit coordination, curriculum redevelopment, and the delivery of teaching activities that promote meaningful learning outcomes.

This position will contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of engaging teaching activities that support effective learning. Working collaboratively with teaching teams, the role supports flexible, inclusive and student-centred learning environments using contemporary teaching technologies. Responsibilities include developing and implementing diverse assessments, undertaking marking and providing constructive feedback and assisting with unit administration and coordination to support consistent, high-quality teaching across the program.

We are seeking someone with qualifications and experience appropriate to the discipline, typically including a doctoral qualification or equivalent research and teaching experience. You will demonstrate effective teaching that motivates and engages students, along with experience in tertiary teaching, assessment and curriculum development. Evidence of scholarly activity that informs education practice, and an understanding of industry and employability requirements relevant to the field, will also be highly regarded.
