About The Opportunity As an Accountant reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day accounting functions to ensure compliance with legislative requirements. You will also provide strategic support to align with the group's goals. Key responsibilities include: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and conducting reviews prior to submission Performing end-of-month data entry and related reconciliations Reviewing and reconciling general ledger accounts across multiple entities Conducting cash flow forecasting, budgeting and scenario modelling Reviewing and submitting BAS/IAS for multiple entities Conducting cost control, analysis and support payroll functions Utilising cost accounting expertise to improve internal processes Preparing external reports for third parties Providing general administrative support and maintaining control systems About You The successful candidate will have: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce and undertaking post-graduate study as a CA/CPA Experience in Management Accounting or a Cost Accounting role is essential A strong commitment to using your knowledge to assist stakeholders High attention to detail and ownership of results A proactive approach to tackling challenges in a dynamic business environment Experience in the automotive industry (advantageous) What's in it for You?
