About the Role:
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for spearheading all people initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders to drive business outcomes, and fostering an environment conducive to employee growth and development.
* Partnering with senior leaders to align HR strategies with organizational objectives
* Developing and implementing effective performance management systems
* Providing coaching and guidance to managers on HR-related matters
* Facilitating resolution of workplace grievances and disciplinary actions
* Driving change initiatives through strategic workforce planning and employee development programs
* Supporting the Industrial Relations team in negotiating Enterprise Agreements and fostering cooperative relationships with unions
* Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including the Fair Work Act
About You:
To excel in this role, you will need to possess:
* Senior HR leadership experience in project, engineering, or manufacturing settings, preferably within rail, infrastructure, transport, or related sectors
* Strategic thinking and business acumen, with expertise in crafting HR strategies that enhance business outcomes
* Proven ability to develop and implement HR initiatives that promote diversity, leadership development, and performance management
* Extensive HR leadership experience in global matrix organizations, with excellent collaboration and influencing skills
* In-depth knowledge of local labour laws and employee relations practices, with confident decision-making abilities
* A strong track record of coaching leaders through complex HR decisions and leading diverse teams
* Relevant educational background in human resources or a related field
