Graduate Enrolled and Registered Nurse Program 2026 offers a 12-month, onsite, part-time role at UnitingCare Hospitals, supporting new nurses with comprehensive training and career development.


Your role

Responsibilities

* Delivering safe, holistic, person-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Consolidating nursing skills and learning through varied and high-acuity clinical work.
* Applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for patients.
* Collaborating with team members using strong communication and customer service skills.
* Participating in graduate study days, education sessions, formal courses, workshops, and supernumerary hours.


About you

Qualifications

* Have completed a Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma of Nursing between December 2024 and December 2025.
* Hold registration with AHPRA by 26 January 2026.
* Demonstrate flexibility to work a full rotating roster (full time or part-time 0.8 FTE).
* Be able to commence the program on 2nd February 2026.
* Have unlimited working rights in Australia (sponsorship not available).


Compensation & benefits

* Enrolled Nurses: $36.56 per hour; Registered Nurses: $42.50 per hour.
* 12% Superannuation.
* Not for Profit Salary Packaging.
* Penalties and Allowances.

Training, development & rotations

The 12-month program includes exposure to varied clinical work, graduate study days, education sessions, formal courses, workshops, and supernumerary hours, all designed to support skill consolidation and professional growth.
