The Opportunity
Working with a team of talented professionals based in Hobart you will be responsible for the following :
* Providing effective cadastral surveys and advice to support urban development projects, construction and resources projects in Hobart.
* Effectively manage the submission of survey documentation to statutory authorities
* Providing advice in the delivery of creative solutions that add value for clients and exceed their expectations
* Ensuring work is carried out within the statutory and client's guidelines
* Adhering to the Company's safety processes and procedures
* Completing project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule
* Mentoring candidates who are seeking cadastral registration
* Winning new work with existing clients
About You
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate :
Registered Surveyor in Tasmania (or the ability to become registered) through the Tasmanian Land Surveyors Accreditation Board (TLSAB).
* Demonstrated experience working directly with clients and clients' development representatives
* Demonstrated experience working with junior staff members and as a Registered Surveyor
* Experience in various types of surveys including but not limited to cadastral, identification, strata, detail, set out, and engineering surveys
* Experience working as a consultant in land development projects
* Experience in the development process and an understanding of interpreting development consent conditions relevant to the subdivision process within Tasmania (desired)
* Ability to supervise and prepare draft or conceptual subdivision plans forming the basis of subdivision and titling concepts for projects and developments
* Ability to use software packages including Terramodel and BricsCAD (or similar)
