The role of a Communications Engineer at Babcock International Group is to play a key part in the design, testing, and integration of the Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System.
Key Responsibilities:
* Applying systems engineering principles to complex hardware and communications solutions
* Supporting key Defence programs that directly contribute to national security and mission readiness
* Working across the full engineering product lifecycle, collaborating with subsystem design teams, IV&V teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth product delivery and integration

Requirements:
* Relevant experience in relatable technical/engineering roles
* Working knowledge of the design, analysis, test, and support techniques associated with electronic equipment
* Understanding of applicable engineering toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, design, simulation, and analysis software)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to lead a small team to achieve desired results
