About the role
Join a passionate team at headspace Horsham as a Senior Mental Health Clinician, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality mental health services to young people. This position involves managing a full caseload, providing clinical assessments and treatment, supporting staff through consultation and advice, and contributing to clinical governance and service quality.
You'll also engage directly with young people, offering counselling, advocacy, care coordination, and fostering strong links with health, education, and social support services.
Work closely with a dedicated team, including the Team Leader Clinical Services and Senior Clinical Advisor, to help drive positive outcomes in youth mental health.

Your skills and experience
* Tertiary qualifications in an allied health discipline (Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or equivalent)
* Additional mental health-specific training or endorsement (for Social Workers, OTs, and Mental Health Nurses)
* Full registration with AHPRA or full membership with AASW
* Advanced clinical skills and experience in diverse mental health settings
* Proven ability to work with young people experiencing complex mental health issues, including suicide risk and behavioural challenges
* Strong experience in clinical triage, assessment, treatment, referral, and case management, with a focus on early intervention and tailored care planning
