Facilities Director Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Director to join our team.
* Draft operational reports and proposals, ensuring seamless facility operations.
* Foster strong relationships with health campuses, research institutions, and the broader health community.
* Stay up-to-date on facilities issues, trends, policies, and regulatory requirements.
* Contribute to property leasing strategies and support negotiations with prospective tenants.
* Develop and implement facility maintenance plans, ensuring optimal operation and resource efficiency.
* Manage facilities maintenance budgets, including forecasting, expense tracking, and cost analysis.
* Coordinate with contractors and vendors to obtain necessary services, materials, and equipment for facility repairs and improvements.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes for facility operation and maintenance.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
* Strong understanding of building systems, regulations, and codes.
* Excellent project management, budgeting, and analytical skills.
* Effective communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and government officials.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Experience managing minor works programs and third-party projects.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and allocate resources.
* Ability to provide timely reporting.
* Ability to manage multiple competing tasks to timelines and changing schedules.
