Our Digital & Business Solutions team holds a strategic responsibility to enhance, govern and manage RSL Queensland's capabilities across architecture, portfolio management, information security, data governance, digital delivery, and technology services, including software engineering, automation, and operations. A fixed term 15-month contract is now available.
As a Web Developer with RSL Queensland, you'll be:
* Working with the cross-functional teams to determine requirements for web development for projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Creating and agreeing development solution with relevant stakeholders using agile and lean methods that focuses on maximising business value.
* Implementing solutions using agreed development practices and technologies to achieve business outcomes in a timely and supportable manner.
* Providing estimates and flag risks and issues that can affect the timely delivery of web development capabilities.
* Participating in planning sessions and working closely with the Integration & Applications Manager and management to deliver business outcomes to agreed timescales and budgets.
About you:
* Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field is essential.
* 5 years plus experience in a Web Development or equivalent role.
* Demonstrated strong experience in developing Web and Windows Forms applications using Microsoft .NET Framework (C#) and Visual Studio, WCF Web Services, desire to have dotnet core experience.
* Demonstrated solid experience in Sitecore Content Management System framework, ideal to have experience in Helix deign pattern, "Experience Editor" build pattern, Personalization and A/B testing.
* Demonstrated experience in development utilizing Web API, restful or SOAP APIs.
