The Opportunity We are seeking a
Consultant Psychiatrist
specialising in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to deliver exceptional care and lead innovative programs.

What You'll Do
Provide clinical assessment and psychiatric treatment to children, adolescents, and youth
Deliver leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, including general practitioners, healthcare providers, and community agencies
Oversee the implementation of the Infant, Child, and Adolescent Taskforce recommendations
Chair clinical review processes and ensure adherence to the Mental Health Act and other legislation
Advocate for mental health needs in planning forums and liaise with key stakeholders
Mentor and support mental health staff and general practitioners in a shared care model
Participate in quality improvement projects and professional development initiatives

Requirements
Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or
Fellowship of the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (or as previously named, the College of Anaesthetists of Ireland) (FCAI), together with a Certificate of Satisfactory Completion of Specialist Training (CSCST) or
Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCA), together with a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)
Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
Experience in child and adolescent mental health
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based care
