Active 247 Locksmith and Security Services is expanding our team and looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and reliable locksmith (or near-qualified apprentice) to join our busy Forster/Taree operations.
Whether you're an experienced tradesperson or a 3rd/4th year apprentice ready to step into a more advanced role, we'd love to hear from you.
About Us
We are a well-established, family-run locksmithing and security installation company servicing the Mid-North Coast. Our work spans residential, commercial and government clients including Essential Energy, MidCoast Council, BGIS, real estate agencies, builders and more.
The Role
This full-time role includes a wide variety of work, such as:
* Rekeys, lock repairs and new installations
* Master key and restricted key systems (as part of general locksmithing)
* CCTV and alarm installations
* Access control
* Residential & commercial security work
* Safe openings, repairs and installations
* Workshop tasks including key cutting
* Optional after-hours work (as discussed)
You'll be supported with modern equipment, well-equipped vehicles, and a great team culture.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Locksmiths
* Certificate III in Locksmithing
* Current NSW Security Licence (or ability to obtain)
* Experience with CCTV, alarms or access control (preferred)
* Reliable, professional and customer-focused
* Able to work independently with confidence
OR
* Strong progress towards completing their qualification
* Some experience with CCTV/alarms is a bonus
* Motivated, willing to learn, and eager to grow
