About the Role
The Ambulatory Cancer Services Manager oversees key clinical operations across ambulatory care settings, including oncology, haematology, palliative care, radiation nursing, and specialist programs. This pivotal role drives service innovation, quality improvement, interdisciplinary care, and nurse-led research.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a dedicated nursing workforce of advanced practice nurses and contribute to shaping best-practice cancer care across Victoria.
* Reporting to the Deputy Director of Nursing & Operations, this role requires proven leadership in clinical settings with experience in governance frameworks, change management, emergency preparedness, and driving continuous quality improvement.
* Skilled in managing healthcare services efficiently, with expertise in budgeting, revenue management, patient access and flow, and project execution in large organisations.
Qualifications and Experience Required
* Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
* Master qualification in cancer/management or working towards.
* Minimum five years' experience in a senior nursing management or relevant health role.
