The role involves managing an existing customer base and developing new business opportunities across the Central/North QLD region.
The successful candidate will have strong product and industry knowledge, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to sales and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain relationships with customers
* Promote welding and industry products
* Deliver tailored technical solutions and support to customers
* Organise call plans and manage schedule independently
* Conduct regular site visits, calls and follow-ups
* Prepare and follow up on quotations and sales enquiries
* Accurately maintain customer records
* Meet and exceed defined product sales targets
About You
* Sound product and industry knowledge in welding or industrial equipment
* A minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience
* Strong communication, negotiation and time management skills
* A motivated and proactive approach to sales and customer service
* High level of computer literacy and organisation
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader national team
* A current driver's license and flexibility to travel within your region
* Permanent residency or Australian citizenship
