Job Title: Science Laboratory Technician
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide effective learning outcomes for students.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with Middle School Science and Senior School Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Science in Practice classes. They will also be required to prepare materials and equipment for science classes and develop positive relationships with students, teachers and other members of the College community.
* Assist with setting up and maintaining laboratory equipment and resources.
* Work under the direction of the Head of Science to assist with classroom activities and experiments.
* Develop and maintain effective communication skills, taking on responsibility and working independently where necessary.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative educational programs.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques or equivalent/higher qualification.
* A current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
* Sound Literacy and Numeracy skills.

Additional Requirements
The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principals Child Safe Modules if not already completed. They must also have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm eligibility). A current Working with Children Card and National Police Clearance (issued in the last 3 months) is also required.
