Responsibilities
The Sydney reporter must be capable of producing fast, accurate and vivid copy on stories ranging from the climate crisis, drought and bush fires to political dramas, business, economics and sport.
The successful candidate will contribute to the fight against misinformation by helping fact‑checkers in the network and ensuring they are trained in the various methods of online verification, now indispensable for all journalism. Online training is available here: AFP Digital Courses
