About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to lead and manage our QLD warehouse and distribution operations. This pivotal role ensures efficient, compliant, and customer-focused delivery across the state. You'll oversee a dedicated team and drive best practices in safety, inventory management, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a team including warehouse operators, customer service, and admin staff.
* Ensure OH&S compliance and champion safety initiatives.
* Optimize distribution and fleet operations for cost-effectiveness.
* Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock takes.
* Drive continuous improvement and embed best practices.
* Deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
* Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a strong culture.
About You
* Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse, logistics, and distribution management.
* Proven leadership and change management skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
* OH&S knowledge and unrestricted driver's licence.
* Forklift licence and MR truck licence (desirable).
* Supply chain qualifications and automotive industry knowledge (advantageous).
