About the Role Join a global leader in smart buildings and take your BMS career to the next level. We’re seeking an experienced BMS Field Service Technician to install, service, and optimise Building Management and HVAC control systems across a diverse customer base. This is a hands ‑ on, customer ‑ facing role with strong technical variety, autonomy, and long ‑ term career development. What’s on offer Competitive salary &43; overtime opportunities Company vehicle, tools, laptop & phone Ongoing technical training and certification Supportive team culture with flexible ways of working Long ‑ term career pathways in service, projects, or engineering Work with industry ‑ leading BMS technology on high ‑ profile sites The role In this role you will: Install, configure, commission, and maintain BMS / HVAC control systems Diagnose and resolve faults using hands ‑ on methods and BMS software tools (trending, alarms, reports) Work with industry communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus Identify system improvement and energy ‑ efficiency opportunities for customers Provide high ‑ quality on ‑ site service and clear technical advice Produce detailed service and breakdown reports Work closely with customers, internal teams, subcontractors, and other trades Support small works quoting and delivery Operate in line with WHS, risk assessments, and company procedures About you You will bring: Trade qualification in Electrical or Instrumentation HVAC / BMS controls experience (essential) Strong understanding of control strategies and building systems Ability to interpret BMS software logic and control routines Basic to good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Excellent customer communication and problem ‑ solving skills Ability to work independently while being a strong team contributor Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Restricted Electrical Licence Who We Are The Future Is What We Make It at Honeywell.
