Procurement Leader
This key role oversees the sourcing and supply chain functions for a premium food manufacturer. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in managing international supply chains, negotiating supplier contracts, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
About the Position
* The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
* Demonstrated success in managing international supply chains, freight forwarders, and supplier negotiations is essential.
* Adept at sourcing, contract management, and ERP systems (preferably SAP) is required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Negotiate supplier contracts to ensure optimal pricing and terms.
2. Review and improve procurement policies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
3. Coordinate import activities and identify opportunities for cost savings through process improvements.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within food manufacturing or FMCG.
* Proven success managing international supply chains and freight forwarders.
* Adept at supplier negotiations, sourcing, and contract management.
* Strong knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP, purchasing processes, and Excel.
