Responsibilities
* Provide resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, delivering high‐quality dining service and assisting residents as required.
* Support peers and maintain a cooperative team spirit.
* Work safely to protect yourself, colleagues and residents, following all policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* A heart and passion for providing high‐quality care to the elderly.
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential.
* Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
* Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
* Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families.
* NDIS and Police check clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
