Field Office - Reactive Road Maintenance

Overview
This role supports reactive road maintenance and infrastructure upkeep to keep Stirling safe, accessible, and well-maintained. You will work outdoors, operate plant equipment, coordinate asphalt works and spot repairs, supervise contractors and work crews, and contribute to meaningful civil construction projects. The position offers a 9-day fortnight and a planned availability roster for work–life balance.
Responsibilities
- Operate plant equipment for road maintenance
- Coordinate asphalt works and spot repairs
- Supervise contractors and work crews
- Organise weekly work schedules and rosters
- Ensure safety and traffic management compliance
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests
- Use digital tools for reporting and scheduling
Qualifications
- Cert IV in Civil Construction or equivalent experience
- White/Blue Card and Traffic Management Certificate
- Robust skills in supervision and coordination
- Experience in asphalt and pavement maintenance
- Ability to deal professionally with the public
- Sound knowledge of safety and quality procedures
- Competency in operating small plant equipment
- HR or C Class Driver’s Licence
