Selectability is one of regional Queensland's leading providers of mental wellbeing and community services. We are seeking a highly skilled and values‐driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team in the Townsville head office.
Reporting to the CEO, the CFO provides strategic financial leadership and ensures the organisation's long‐term sustainability. You will oversee all financial operations while delivering insights that drive strong organisational performance.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* leading financial strategy, annual budgets and multi‐year forecasting
* providing financial advice to the CEO, board and executive team
* overseeing risk management, internal controls and financial governance
* supporting capital planning, business cases and investment evaluation
* ensuring data governance and cyber resilience in financial operations
* leading and developing a high‐performing finance team
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have
* degree in finance/accounting/business and CPA or CA accreditation
* 10+ years' finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CFO or similar)
* strong commercial acumen and the ability to assess trends and financial drivers
* demonstrated capacity to manage liquidity, cash flow and organisational financial stability
* exceptional communication, leadership and stakeholder‐engagement skills
