We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle APEX Developer with extensive PL/SQL experience and 8-10 years of proven expertise in Supporting and developing robust applications.
The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of Oracle APEX architecture, excellent database design skills.
This role demands a proactive individual who can quickly adapt to different client environments and provide immediate support across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Oracle APEX Support and Development:
* Design, develop, and implement Oracle APEX applications that are high-performing, scalable, and secure.
* Customize Oracle APEX components such as pages, regions, item types, and processes to meet project requirements.
PL/SQL Support and Development:
* Modify/create efficient PL/SQL code for complex business logic and data manipulation as part of BAU Support.
* Optimize database queries, triggers, and stored procedures for performance enhancements.
Database BAU Support and Maintenance:
* Modify data models, schemas, and table structures based on application requirements as part of BAU support and Enhancements.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
* Provide technical support to clients, troubleshoot issues, and offer timely resolutions.
* Monitor application performance metrics and troubleshoot issues proactively.
* Identify and implement solutions to optimize application and database performance.
Documentation and Technical Support:
* Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including specifications, test plans, and user guides as part of BAU support and enhancements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Mentor junior developers and share knowledge to foster team growth and skills enhancement.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Oracle APEX Support, development and PL/SQL programming.
* Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
* Strong problem‑solving abilities.
* Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines/SLA
* Strong understanding of Oracle database concepts, schemas, and SQL tuning.
* Experience in scaling applications and supporting diverse client environments.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment adhering to service governance.
* Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders and clients.
* Able to adapt to different technologies to support the client projects
