Role Summary
Join the Banking and Financial Services Cloud Technology team and be a part of a full lifecycle team building and maintaining automation tooling and creating industry‑leading distributed Kubernetes based platforms. We are striving for 100% cloud, with a massive focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). We pride ourselves on building automated, extensible and secure cloud capabilities underpinning our Digital Bank, using innovative approaches to automation including extensive use of Hashicorp Vault, Kubernetes Operators, ArgoCD, in‑house written Go operators and GCP & AWS Cloud Platforms. Responsibilities
In this role, you will be providing technical leadership in architecture, design, development, testing and operations to deliver solutions incrementally. You will be responsible for influencing and mentoring other engineers in engineering best practices.
Qualifications
* 2-5 years' experience with the Go programming language
* 3+ years' experience with hyperscale cloud providers, preferably GCP, in enterprise environments
* Strong experience in platform engineering, enabling cloud services for consumption by application teams
* You have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with a flair for ascertaining stakeholder requirements
* Real world experience in supporting production applications
* Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD) and declarative infrastructure as code (kustomize, helm, or terraform)
* Familiar with secrets management platform or technology (example: Hashicorp Vault)
