Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Clinical Director to lead our Emergency and Specialist Care department.
This is a predominantly clinical role with some managerial duties, including:
* Working as a Veterinary Clinical Director across a mixture of shifts, ensuring excellent patient care and work-life balance.
* Establishing best practice processes for the department.
* Communicating the vision of the hospital and key department updates to your team to promote a positive work environment.
* Ensuring the department meets its objectives.
* Working with other department heads to develop strategic plans.
* Supporting your team by providing feedback and conducting performance reviews to identify current successes and areas for future professional growth.
Qualifications
Essential skills and experience:
* A veterinary degree available for registration in New South Wales.
* Minimum of 5+ years working in a 24/7 Emergency and Specialist Care hospital.
* Demonstrated ability to successfully lead teams and strategic thinking to refine and grow the service.
* Management training (formal or informal through continuing professional development) would be advantageous.
* Commitment to being a team player, good communicator and contributing to a positive workplace environment.
* Dedication to delivering compassionate and high-quality veterinary care.
