Job Title: National Sales Manager
The National Sales Manager is accountable for leading the sales team and developing strategic sales plans.
* Lead the product sales team to achieve excellence in sales performance.
* Develop and implement strategies to recognize and reward high-performing team members based on agreed targets.
* Recruit, train, and develop sales personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
* Participate in cross-functional meetings to drive business growth through collaboration with Marketing, Clinical Specialists, Operations, and Medical teams.
* Analyze data to identify opportunities for growth, create new customer bases, and foster a network of product champions.
* Develop sales strategies to drive growth across our key product lines.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including clinicians, procurement teams, and other key stakeholders.
* Lead the development of key opinion leader engagement and professional education strategies in conjunction with Marketing and Medical teams.
* Ensure the sales team has up-to-date account plans, tracking activities, and performance against targets.
* Collaborate with International Marketing and Sales leadership teams to optimize cross-regional initiatives and best practices.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Science, or related field.
* Minimum 8 years of experience in Commercial or Sales/Marketing functions in healthcare.
* Excellent understanding of the local healthcare market and established networks.
* 2+ years of people leadership experience with global, matrixed reporting lines.
* Clinical selling capability, following a patient-centric approach.
* Prior experience leading professional education/key opinion leader strategic plans.
* A strong record of sales performance and success.
* Enthusiastic, dedicated, and solutions-oriented individual.
Working Conditions:
* Field/Office-based position with travel requirements within Australia (60% of the time).
