About the Role
As a Sales Specialist – Automotive & Lubricants, you'll be the driving force behind brand performance in-store. You'll work hands-on with store managers, franchisees, and retail teams to build product confidence, improve execution, and ultimately increase sell-out.
You'll be more than a rep — you'll be the trusted lubrication advisor, brand ambassador, and the key link between retail and head office.
What You'll Be Doing
Build Strong Store Relationships
* Develop trusted partnerships with store managers and retail teams
* Act as the go-to contact for product, category and range support
* Confidently handle technical and customer product enquiries
Coach, Train & Influence
* Deliver short, engaging in-store training sessions
* Upskill staff on key products, benefits and selling priorities
* Drive confident staff recommendations at point-of-sale
In-Store Execution & Compliance
* Execute merchandising, planograms and promotional activity
* Identify and escalate pricing, ticketing and POS opportunities
* Monitor stock availability and escalate out-of-stocks
Sales Support & Performance
* Complete structured store visits aligned to account priorities
* Support sales growth through visibility, education and advocacy
* Identify opportunities to elevate brand presence and execution
Reporting & Insights
* Submit accurate, timely visit reports
* Share actionable insights with internal teams and Key Account Managers
* Track performance against KPIs and store objectives
About You
* Working knowledge or strong interest in automotive lubricants
* Confident, engaging and comfortable influencing in-store
* Experience in retail, sales, field merchandising or brand activation
* Enjoy coaching others and building genuine relationships
* Highly organised, reliable and effective in the field
* Passionate about delivering standout brand experiences
* Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
