As part of a dedicated team, the Noise and Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring airport operations and noise at major airports around the world, ensuring that our clients meet regulatory compliance requirements and can assure adherence with agreed procedures, and that any encountered anomalies are effectively investigated. With experience in data analysis and reporting you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and reporting airport noise and operations at major airports around the world in line with our organisation's
goals and vision, and our customer requirements. This position supports the Global Noise Office Manager by ensuring that the Global Noise Office team services are executed with timeliness, accuracy and high quality, and ensuring that customer requirements are met in accordance with agreed service levels.
**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide customer support in accordance with Envirosuite's values and brand
- Monitor airport operations and ensuring the quality of flight data information including runway
usage, flight path usage and aircraft type information
- Review acoustic events related to aircraft noise and determine whether they meet agreed criteria
- Produce and validate customer reporting outcomes
- Report, document and escalate any operational, system, data and reporting issues
- Analyse, explain, resolve and communicate any data and reporting issues
- Identify and implement any opportunities for process and procedure improvement
- Perform analysis tasks, data queries and updates using SQL
- Manage and complete detailed data analysis tasks and ad-hoc requests
- Fulfill 'Operational lead' role for major Noise Office customers which includes but is not limited to:
o Managing all aspects of data quality and ensuring that there are corresponding processes in
place
- Ensure all regular reporting deliverables are submitted on time in a ready to publish format
- Coordinate data related issues, by escalating and managing the internal process and
communicating updates to the client
- Lead planned system upgrades and ensure quality assurance process is completed
- Develop and maintain documentation for all Noise Office processes
- Work in accordance with corporate policies and processes
**QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE**
- Technically based tertiary qualifications in aviation, engineering, noise & acoustics or other related
technical area, and/or relevant industry
- At least 3 years of experience in a data analysis and reporting type role
- Understanding of Aviation/Airport Operations and/or noise standards and acoustics is beneficial, but
not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong database management and analysis skills
- High level of computer literacy (MS Office package) and data representation through interactive and
written reports
- High level of problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate and lead data improvement tasks
- Strong report and analysis writing skills and the ability to provide context to reporting outputs
