Food Service Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Food Service Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
* Assist cooks and chefs with food preparation, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
* Clean and maintain kitchen utensils, equipment, and surfaces, adhering to strict cleaning protocols.
* Ensure food storage and cleanliness standards are met, guaranteeing the freshness and quality of our dishes.
* Handle food safely, preventing contamination and maintaining a clean environment.
* Provide a welcoming and positive dining experience for residents, responding to their needs and preferences.
What We Need From You
* Full working rights.
* Proof of 3 months' experience in a similar role in Australia.
* 2 covid vaccinations, and a flu vaccine (as you will be working amongst vulnerable people).
What We Can Provide
* Food Handling Safety certificate.
* Manual Handling certificate.
