We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to undertake the ongoing development of the civil engineering strategies across Adelaide and Parafield Airport, including stormwater, drainage, flood modelling and management, pavements and ground transport (traffic) planning. As the Civil technical engineering specialist you would provide infrastructure advice to inform future developments, including concept design and ongoing civil advice throughout design and construction. 
Supporting the Infrastructure Development Manager in tasks such as: 
- Concept design and detail design input and review including engineering calculations, analysis and investigations.
- Development of designs and planning including: applying engineering models to planning and capital development projects, monitoring of actual flows and levels against forecast to identify future triggers for upgrades, updating staging and implementation plans to reflect external influences, investigating and implementing recent technologies and methodologies.
- Development of high level services concepts, establishing assessment criteria and evaluating these concepts against the criteria
- Infrastructure & traffic planning advice across the business
- Development of the infrastructure elements of future AAL master plans
- Communicating requirements and advice internally and externally to help inform: business cases, lease agreements, aeronautical deals, service providers and equipment suppliers.
- Review Development Applications against the civil aspects of the AAL Master Plan
- Understand, implement and contribute to our sustainability and environmental guidelines (including stormwater reuse, rain gardens, bio swales, permeable pavements and other WSUD initiatives)
- Development and adherence to internal design guidelines
