We are seeking skilled Plasterers to join our growing and dynamic team. Must be reliable, committed to the job and have your own vehicle for transport.
Responsibilities
Apply various plastering and rendering finishes to internal and external surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Prepare surfaces for rendering, including cleaning, patching, and applying bonding agents where required.
Mix and apply cement render, acrylic render, or other finish materials according to job specifications.
Operate rendering tools and equipment safely and as directed.
Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the project.
Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Follow site safety procedures and assist in maintaining compliance with WHS standards, and report any issues to the Site Supervisor.
Interpret and follow job instructions, plans, and drawings as needed.
Assist in the set-up and pack-down of work areas, scaffolding, and equipment.
Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
What you'll bring
Previous experience in plastering/rendering, construction or labouring roles.
Understanding of basic construction practices and use of hand and power tools.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour in varying conditions.
Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and ensuring all deadlines are met.
Excellent verbal skills - Able to follow instructions from the site supervisors.
White Card (Construction Induction) – mandatory for site access.
High Risk Work Licences, EWP, or Forklift (advantageous).
Ability to read and follow basic plans and instructions.
Asbestos awareness training (online or classroom in the last 2 years) by an RTO, or willing to obtain before employment.
Face fit testing (within the last 12 months) or willing to obtain before employment. (Note: as an alternative to close shaving, successful applicants will be required to provide and maintain their own PAPR unit)

Renumeration
$45 per hour, depending on experience. The role will begin on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition to full-time in the near future.
