For nearly 25 years, GTS has been delivering premier services, advice and solutions for all aspects of low, medium and high voltage testing, repairs, maintenance and commissioning. We are seeking talented engineers with experience to join our Technical Services team. As an Electrical Engineer at GTS, you will be a key member of our Technical Services department, contributing to the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems across all locations. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in electrical engineering to drive innovation and excellence within our organisation.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

* Testing, commissioning and maintenance on electrical equipment within your capabilities and experience

- Performing detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.

* Developing project documentation, including technical reports, drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.

* Providing technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.

* Troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues efficiently to minimise downtime.

* Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and quality standards throughout all stages of project execution.

Strong skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team are essential for success in this position. This is a permanent full-time opportunity for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving innovation in the field of electrical engineering.

Please note that this role will require you to be flexible with working away.

Hourly rate range $45 - $50 per hour, dependent upon skills and experience.

Academic or Trade Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering as a minimum

* Eligibility to join Engineers Australia as a Professional

* Must be legally able to work in Australia

* Manual driver's license

Work Experience and Skills:

* Minimum 2+ Years practical experience in the HV industry

* Ability to be extremely adaptable and flexible

* Excellent communication skills

* Manual Handling (can be obtained after employment)

* Ability to adjust in a fast-changing environment

* Microsoft Office 365
