As part of their growth, we're seeking a Network Solutions Architect with deep expertise in optical networking to play a key role in shaping, designing, and guiding large-scale network solutions for major customers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and architecture of advanced optical and packet networking solutions, covering DWDM, OTN, and open networking technologies.
Engage with enterprise and service provider customers to capture requirements, translate them into scalable architectures, and deliver future-ready designs.
Provide technical leadership through presales, solution design, and project delivery phases.
Stay ahead of market trends, bringing innovative ideas around network automation, SDN, and next-gen optical transport.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring solutions align with both business goals and technical best practices.
Ideal Background
Proven experience as a Network Architect or Senior Network Engineer specialising in optical transport and packet networking.
Hands-on knowledge of DWDM systems, open networking platforms, and OTN technologies.
Experience working with multiple vendor ecosystems (e.g., Cisco, Nokia, Ciena, Infinera, Juniper, or similar).
Solid understanding of carrier-class networking, high-capacity backbones, and data centre interconnects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for different audiences.
