The Role
Due to growth, the business has a fantastic opportunity for a Contract Manager to join our Cleaning Operations division and the portfolio will be located in Geelong and the surrounding areas.
The role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, performance and continuous improvement in service delivery.
The role would be ideal for a detail-oriented person, who shares a passion for operational excellence, stakeholder engagement and team leadership.
Responsibilities
* Management and ongoing maintenance of cleaning contracts for the designated portfolio including the development of innovative solutions to meet client needs
* Ensure profitability of the contract by controlling labour and purchasing decisions
* Continually reviewing the operation in order to develop efficiencies and cost reduction
* Maintain strong relationships with the client and ensure that issues are quickly identified, investigated and resolved
* Work with internal stakeholders and teams across the business to ensure consistent delivery of service outcomes
* Coach, lead and mentor a team of cleaners to ensure work performance is in alignment with expected standards of performance
* Ensure work is carried out in a safe manner and risks identified as per company process
* Ensuring cleaning equipment is well maintained & available to minimise disruptions to service delivery
* Complete site audits and ensure initiatives are implemented to ensure an uplift in service delivery and continuous improvement
* Prepare reports in alignment within the business governance structure and defined KPIs are achieved
About You
* Experience as a Contract Manager in cleaning, hospitality or service-based industries or a supervisor who is ready to advance their career
* Completed tertiary studies in business management (highly regarded)
* Demonstrated business acumen and ability to manage P&L for designated contracts
* Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal)
* Experience leading, coaching and mentoring teams
* Strong stakeholder management skills in order to negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes
* Ability to think laterally, in order to develop effective, efficient and productive solutions
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Shares a passion for service delivery and the achievement of results
