We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to lead our dynamic rural sales team in Rockhampton, Queensland. As Agricultural Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for managing branch retail operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and achieving sales targets through strong client relationships and effective team leadership.
About the Role:
* Lead and Coach the Sales Team: Meet and exceed sales and service targets by leading and coaching the sales team.
* Build Strong Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and promote suitable products.
* Oversee Safe Storage and Handling: Oversee the safe storage and handling of agricultural products in accordance with industry standards.
* Manage Retail Operations: Manage retail operations including stock control, ordering, and merchandising.
* Monitor Financial Performance: Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.
Requirements:
* Proven Sales Experience: Proven retail sales and team management experience, preferably in the agricultural sector.
* Sound Knowledge: Sound understanding of animal health and agronomic products.
* Local Knowledge: Knowledge of local farming practices and seasonal demand cycles.
* Strong Communication: Strong communication and negotiation skills.
