Contract Personnel are currently recruiting a Production Operative based in the Diss area.
Duties and responsibilities
- Manually operate polyester film sealing machines (heat sealing sheets of polyester together to make pockets/envelopes)
- Shrink wrap and box products ready for despatch.
- Complete all relevant paperwork correctly.
- Partake in stock control, counting stock items accurately.
- You will have a good eye for detail, ensuring excellent quality control of the work produced.
- Carry out any additional duties as directed by the supervisor or team leader
Requirements
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred, but not essential)
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to standard operating procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work efficiently under pressure
Shift pattern
- Monday to Friday
- 13:30 – 17:30
