Maintenance Team
Our maintenance team is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and servicing of all site facilities, plant, and equipment, in accordance with the highest safety and compliance standards.
The role is rostered predominantly Monday to Friday.
Duties
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, key responsibilities for the Trades Assistant include:
* Assist tradespeople in maintaining and servicing site facilities, plant, and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Support breakdowns, repairs, and corrective actions as required.
* Help maintain accurate records of planned and unplanned maintenance using our Windows (MEX) maintenance system.
* Assist in ensuring critical spares and materials are available onsite when needed.
* Follow all company safety policies and procedures, contributing to a safe working environment.
Qualifications Required
* Previous experience as a Trades Assistant, labourer, or in a hands-on maintenance role is desirable.
* Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or general trade tasks is an advantage.
* Support is available for motivated candidates to complete a trade qualification in a relevant discipline, preferably fitting or mechanical maintenance.
* Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
* Ability to work under supervision and take direction, while showing initiative when appropriate.
* Strong organisational skills, time management, and a proactive approach to tasks.
* Current Right to work in Australia.
